2. Herman Anthony² Schieler (Anton¹) was born in Maywood, IL 1893.

He married Malinda Knippenberg in Melrose Park, Cook County, IL, March 3, 1919. Malinda was born November 25, 1899. Malinda was the daughter of Henry C. Knippenberg and May Miller. Malinda died February 2, 1966 in Melrose Park, Cook County, IL, at 66 years of age. Her body was interred February 5, 1966 in Oakridge, IL. Herman must have used his middle name since the 1930 census lists his name as Anthony Schieler living in Maywood, IL. The 1930 census also lists Floyd Kerner, a 25 year old single male born in Wisconsin living with the Herman's family as a boarder.

Herman Anthony Schieler and Malinda Knippenberg had the following children:

6 iv. Herbert Schieler.

7 v. Betty Lou Schieler.
